Reading SAP S/4HANA transaction codes as process entry points

Transaction codes are still a useful map of SAP process behavior even when the project uses Fiori as the primary user experience. A T-code often reveals the underlying report, dynpro flow, authorization object pattern and document lifecycle that still matters during troubleshooting.

The practical way to use a T-code reference is to connect it to the process step it controls. For example, display transactions are useful for audit and support, change transactions require stronger authorization review, and customizing transactions should be treated as design decisions rather than user training material.

When a transaction has a Fiori successor, do not assume that the business behavior is identical. Compare the field control, validation messages, workflow integration, output handling and authorization traces before deciding which entry point should be documented for key-users.
